Powered Stations are lab equipment that require energy in the form of volts in order to function. Power generation and consumption is measured in volts (e.g. 4v is required to operate a Blast Furnace).
Volts are produced from either Solar Panels, Generators or Reactors, which can be wired directly to a power Powered Station or wired to charge a "Battery Unit" for later consumption.
