It's the upgraded version the the Extraction Lab.
The MKII Extraction Lab is a workstation used by prospective scientists to turn miscellaneous objects into basic lab reagents, such as Nutrient Paste, Genetic Material, and Methanol. It is one of the most useful pieces of equipment in any laboratory.
To use the MKII Extraction Lab, simply place the items you want to refine in the input slot for them to be converted into various raw materials.
Many blocks are extracted in multiples of up to 50, so ensure that you placed a sufficient quantity into the input slot.

The MKII Extraction Lab can be made at the Matter Assembler and there is also a much more efficient version called the Quantum Extractor.
