Editing Science Outpost

The Science Outpost is the main [http://frackinuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Quests quest hub] in Frackin' Universe, and can be accessed at any time from your Ship Computer after reading the "Come Visit Us!" pamphlet found in your inventory at the start of the game. Most--if not all--of the Frackin' Universe lab equipment can be found at the Science Outpost; this makes it ideal for beginning FU players who may not have a home base or personal laboratory of their own.

The Science Outpost has several areas, each containing lab equipment related to the "theme" of the area:
* General Assembly (first and second floors immediately upon entering the building; you can find an [http://frackinuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Extraction_Lab Extraction Lab], [http://frackinuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Matter_Assembler Matter Assembler], [http://frackinuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Fission_Furnace Fission Furnace], [http://frackinuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Nano-Fabricator Nano-Fabricator], [http://frackinuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Armory Armory], and other equipment related to ore smelting and material creation here)
* Chemicals, Genes, Seeds: Bioengineering (third floor and "attic"; you can find a [http://frackinuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/biochem_lab BioChem Lab], [http://frackinuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/xeno_research_lab Xeno Research Lab], [http://frackinuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/gene_design_lab Gene Design Lab], and other equipment related to gene creation, plants, and biochemicals here)
* [[Bee Refuge|Apiary]] (immediately to the right of the main building; you can find all the necessary equipment for Bee-Keeping here)
* Brewery (all the way to the right, past the Apiary; you can find all the necessary equipment for brewing, distilling, and booze here)
* Crucible Room (all the way to the left, through a 1-block gap at the base of the cliff. Needs a Microsphere or Precursor Microsphere to access, and there's also a combination lock, there are exactly 40.320 possible answers for this, we can't get a conclusion that easy.)
* [[Sstabbed-Thingss Emporium]] (Getss Fressh Meatss!) Sells meaty foods. Use to fulfill quest from [[Kevin/Quests|kevin]]
* Burger Fool (The galaxies most famous burger) sells food
* Fresh Eats (Delicious and questionable foods) sells food
* SuperPet (A well known pet store) pet store
* Silenes' Minerals (The very best in delicious rocks)
* Hiring Office (Hire crew members for your ship) sells contracts
* Forum Decorum (Fine Mantizian Goods) sells home goods
* Ran's Castle (sells Nightar-themed goods)
* Vindee's Gems (The finest in gemcraft)
* Lorewalker's Trade and Trade (Trade here!)
* ... (Some sort of shop) sells [[penumbra]] goods
* Munchies' Dirts (He... appears to sell dirt.) sells drugs that can cause [[madness]]. Located at the very right end of the outpost

Items that you place in storage in the Science Outpost may not be preserved. Always try to use storage on your ship or at your home laboratory when caching items and crafting components.
